About the Role

Blairโ€™s Closet is seeking a strong, experienced retail leader to take a lead role in managing our store operations. As our Store Operator, you will be the heartbeat of our physical location, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and every shelf reflects our premium brand standards.

This is not a typical retail management position. Weโ€™re looking for someone who can run day-to-day operations with confidence, make decisions independently, and take pride in delivering a great customer experience โ€” while working closely with ownership for support and guidance.

What This Role Looks Like

  • Run the store day-to-day with minimal oversight and maximum accountability
  • Open and close the store independently, managing security and keys
  • Make strategic decisions on sales, merchandising, and inventory flow
  • Ensure the store is organized, stocked, and running efficiently at all times
  • Work closely with our warehouse team to bring in and rotate product
  • Create a welcoming, engaging experience for customers and represent the Blairโ€™s Closet brand

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily store operations, including POS management and reporting
  • Merchandise and maintain the sales floor to meet high visual standards
  • Coordinate inventory movement between warehouse and store locations
  • Execute sales strategies, promotional events, and seasonal markdowns
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the day
  • Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with regular shoppers
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales and overall store performance

Sales & Marketing Responsibility

Driving traffic and sales is a key part of this leadership position.

  • Work closely with our marketing team to plan and execute promotions and Facebook campaigns
  • Help identify opportunities to increase traffic during slower periods
  • Provide direction on what products, promotions, and messaging should be featured
  • Stay aware of market trends and competitors to bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Maintain strong communication with our marketing support team to keep content aligned with store needs

Preferred (but not required):

  • Comfortable being on camera for Facebook Live videos or product showcases
  • Willing to engage with customers online and help grow the storeโ€™s presence

Base Salary
$45,000 /yr
Paid bi-weekly
Performance Bonus
Up to $60,000
